Car Seat Inspection

The Hillsdale Police Department provides car seat installation checks and inspections to help ensure children are properly secured while traveling. Car seats can vary by manufacturer, height and weight limits, installation methods, and cleaning or replacement guidelines, so caregivers are always encouraged to follow the specific instructions for their seat. P.O. Bruce is a National Child Passenger Safety Certified Technician and is available to assist residents with checking over their car seat, reviewing proper installation, and answering general child passenger safety questions.
